On November 6, 2018, Rick LaBerge, Chief Operating Officer of HARIBO of America was the keynote speaker at FaB (Food and Beverage) Wisconsin’s Fifth Annual Meeting.
FaB Wisconsin is an economic development cluster organization whose mission is to grow food and beverage manufacturing in the state.
“We’re excited to be working so closely with the people of Wisconsin as we make plans to build our first-ever U.S. factory in Pleasant Prairie,” said Rick as he addressed the 400 attendees. “I’m so happy to be here to represent HARIBO of America and to hear about the incredible initiatives FaB is leading to promote the growth of the food and beverage industry in Wisconsin.”
The Fifth Annual Meeting celebrated the theme of “Sweet Success,” and HARIBO of America was one of the companies featured to share accomplishments and highlight stories of Associates making everything happen.
Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin hosted the event and part of each ticket sale went to raising funds for the organization and aiding its mission to end hunger through its food banks and other hunger relief efforts in Milwaukee and Appleton.
“It was great to be such an integral part of an event that’s clearly so important to the people and businesses of Wisconsin,” said Katie Waller, VP, Marketing, HARIBO of America. “HARIBO showed up so well, our support of the local community was clear and it was a proud moment for us all.”
The Annual Meeting closed with an opportunity to network and meet representatives from food and beverage businesses all over Wisconsin. Attendees were also treated to HARIBO gift bags and a chance to snap a photo with our HARBIO Gold Bear.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with FaB Wisconsin as we become part of the fabric of Wisconsin’s business and food manufacturing community.
